Query On Cartridges For HTTPS / SSH Protocol Support (Doc ID 2645958.1)

Goal

Query regarding existing cartridge protocol.

Following are the example of cartridges that are using telnet protocol :

Enigma_BootFile_Cartridge_2_0
CISCO_PGW2200_9_6_1_VPCS_1_1
CISCO_BTS_10200_4_5_1_EMS_1_0
SUN_LDAP_5_2_SUB_1_0
NORTEL_CS2K_ISN09_SIP_SERVICES

Is it possible to do any modification so that these cartridges will use secure protocol(https or ssh)?

If yes, then what are the changes required, what should be the approach, any code level change required?

Kindly provide us all the info regarding feasibility of this change.
