How Will Cassandra Behave With A Very Long Folder Rename? (Doc ID 2649449.1)

Goal



A horribly long RENAME -- how will this behave with Cassandra?

An original folder named "Test Results" had 1.5 millions messages.

The transaction log showed that it took almost 51 minutes to do a rename of that folder with classic store:



It is expected that the client wasn't really still there when the connection was closed.

How long will this sort of thing take with Cassandra, instead of classic store?
