Goal
Question 1: On 8.0.x version, below out of box Role-Function mappings were noticed to be present for Read, Write & Access roles. Please help understand what these Functions are used for.
V_ROLE_CODE | V_FUNCTION_CODE |
DT_ACCESS | ETLDTQ |
DT_ACCESS | ETLUSR |
DT_READ | ETLDTQ |
DT_READ | ETLUSR |
DT_WRITE | ETLDTQ |
DT_WRITE | ETLUSR |
Also confirm if above Roles have access to "Data management framework -> Data management tools -> Post load changes" screen out of box.
Question 2: Since the ETLUSER is described as "The user mapped to this function will be a Data Integrator user", is it still required if "ODI" is not used?
Question 3: Neither ETLDTQ nor ETLUSR are "Read Only" functions (as they provide "Write" privileges), hence they cannot be used to create a "Read Only" user.
Please suggest the functions to be used for obtaining "Read only" access to the PLC screen? Requirement is that user is able to open the DT and view the same, but be unable to modify/save it or create a new one.
