RCM Extract reports oldest rather than latest (most current) assessment for control
The Risk Control Matrix Extract includes information regarding only the most recent assessment and includes the following attributes:
• Last Control Assessment Date
• Last Control Assessment Type
• Last Control Assessment Status
• Last Control Assessment Result
The report generated does not provide information regarding the most recent assessment. Instead, it picks up data for the first assessment or oldest assessment. For example, we perform a Test of Design and then a Test of Operating Effectiveness. Note that the report lists Design Review as the Last Control Assessment Type. Now, if we review the report we have no idea if we still have to perform a Test of Effectiveness. This is fairly significant.
