Custom CCS EDR Tags Not Written by the Periodic Charge Plugin (Doc ID 2672004.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 12.0.3.0.0 [Release 4.3 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) up to and including 12.0.3.0, custom Event Data Record (EDR) tags are not written to the final Charging Control Services (CCS) EDR by the Periodic Charge (PC) plugin.

This issue can be reproduced by:

1. Configure a new PC

2. Create a new Control Plan (CP) with the following nodes:

The SEDR node must be placed before the PCSN node.

3. Trigger the CP against any provisioned subscriber and observe the resulting PC State Change EDR (CDR_TYPE=52).

Despite the EDR information being passed in the request triggered by the PCSN node, the EDR will not contain the custom EDR tag configured in the SEDR node.
