Symptoms

When attempting to run the dbsetup application to create the P6 database,
the following error occurs.

Error in Run SQL Script orpm_bguser.sql : DatabaseToolException (ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PLS-00905: object ADMUSER.INITIALIZE_BACKGROUND_PROCS is invalid
ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Run a database utility (dbsetup.bat/sh or migrate.bat/sh) to create a new P6 database in Oracle DB.
  2. The utility wizard fails with above error.
