Support Status Of VCS With Messaging Server 8.1 (Doc ID 2675785.1)

What is the support status of VCS?

In Messaging Server 8.1, Veritas cluster agents have been removed and are no longer supported. The supported HA options are Oracle Clusterware, Automatic Failover and Cassandra Store.

What exactly does "no longer supported" mean?

The current VCS agent that we are using is not the one that came with Messaging Server, but rather, is one directly from Veritas (or perhaps one that was written internally).
So thus, the agents being removed from the Messaging Server distribution do not apply here.  Also, support is not expected from Oracle for the VCS agent that is being used for any part of VCS.

Does this method of using VCS (in any way) invalidate any other part of support from Oracle for Messaging Server?
