The SQLite Database Option Is Not Available When Installing P6 (Doc ID 2677588.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When installing P6 on a workstation to be used as a standalone application with an SQLite database, the SQLite database platform option is not available when configuring the database connection for the first time - only Oracle and SQL Server.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The SQLite platform option should be available when installing P6 as a standalone application.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download the P6 software and install the application.
  2. During the installation process the user is prompted to configure the P6 database.
  3. The SQLite database platform is not listed.
