Goal
Diameter Controll Agent(DCA) rejecting messages based on Attributes Value Pair(AVP) flags
During integration customer had faced an issue with incoming SMS EVENT_REQUEST messages over Diameter. Specifically, the AVP flags for the "Subscription-Id-Data" and "Subscription-Id-Type" fields are unset.
According to the RFC, the Mandatory bit should be set, so DCA rejects these messages outright with a result code of DIAMETER_INVALID_AVP_BITS (3009).
Question is if this checking can be disabled and the message can be accepted despite the wrong bits?
