Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
"ISS search failed" messages are a bit noisy and not very useful.
The filesystem holding the logs saw an increase from 10% busy to 15% busy when a server was patched from Messaging Server 8.0.2.5.20190826 to 8.0.2.6.20200227.
Many of the following type messages were observed per second:
It would be slightly better if there was also session id info, so there would be a chance of tracking back to what user caused it.
Perhaps there should be a throttle on how many it prints per second? Is that doable? If it is not doable, then turn these messages back to "debug".
Due to this issue, these messages are constantly appearing and there does not appear to be any way to stop or minimize them.
