Getting Invalid Gap Selection Validation Exception. How to resolve this?

We are experiencing exception while resolving connectivity Gap with Pipe from below API. Where in it is working from GUI and creates Jumper automatically.
Business Logic:-
pipes = finder.findById(Pipe.class, "OS-"+pipeid);
Pipe pipe = pipes.iterator().next();
connectivityList.add(pipe);
connectivityPath = connectivityPath.refresh();
PipeConfigurationItem gapItem = connectivityPath.getChildConfigItems().get(0);
connectivity=manager.addSegmentsToConnectivityPath(connectivity, connectivityPath, gapItem, connectivityList);
connectivityList.clear();
