When Click Get Button on Attachment Files Having Left Round Bracket on File Name in File Folder Object Display "Downloading File" Message but File Cannot be Downloaded (Doc ID 2693284.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
When clicking Get button on attachment files having Left Round Bracket "(" on file name in File Folder object displays "Downloading File" message on the Web Client User Interface but nothing happens and the actual file will not be downloaded from the Web Browser.

Expected Behavior
When clicking Get button on attachment files having Left Round Bracket "(" on file name in File Folder object displays "Downloading File" message on the Web Client User Interface and can download the actual file from Web Browser.

Fact
1. This issue occur when try to download attachment having having Left Round Bracket "(" on file name in File Folder object. Downloading attachment file from other object such as Part object will not cause this issue.

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Web Client
2. Search a File Folder
3. Go to Files tab
4. Select a row having attachment file having Left Round Bracket "(" on file name.

Example : sample(.pdf

5. Press Get button
