How Does the Viewer Determine What to Display for a Feeder Focus? (Doc ID 2704563.1)

Purpose

 Question was raised regarding how the viewer determines what is to be displayed when doing a Feeder Focus. 

 A device is selected and then Feeder Focus is chosen.  In most cases, a single feeder containing the selected device is displayed. This is expected.  In a few cases,  it appears that nothing is changed, and it is not clear why.

What is the viewer checking?
