Issues with RMS Application (Doc ID 2705318.1)

Symptoms

Users are getting the below message while working on RMS(Retail Merchandising System) application.

'ORA-03113 end of communication channel.'

Upon checking logs, could see below message in server logs:
'Jul 28, 2020 12:17:20 PM oracle.forms.servlet.RunformProcess fromFrmwebToODL
SEVERE: fatal error in runtime process: timeout on connection to Java client'

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Login to RMS.
  2. After sometime, users are getting the below error message: "ORA-03113".
  3. Perform a PO(purchase order) induction template process, to the RMS staging tables.
