ORA-06502 Error when Calling PCM_OP_PRICE_SET_PRICE_LIST with Long Discount Rule/Trigger Codes (Doc ID 2711570.1)

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), when attempting to update Discount Models and Discount Triggers with codes over 10 characters in length, the following error is thrown/returned:

The issue can be reproduced by:

1. Calling the PCM_OP_PRICE_SET_PRICE_LIST opcode
2. Pass in a Discount Trigger/Model code over 10 characters long

This limitation does not affect Discount Model/Trigger Codes generated by Pricing Design Center (PDC).
