**Examples provided in this article do not represent real life personal/confidential information. Please use proper values to your business.**
**Disclaimer:** This KM article may include the following abbreviations:

MDM - Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management
MC - Measuring Component
IMD - Initial Measurement Data

On : 2.6.0.1.0 version, Meter Data Management

Discarding IMD in exception does not discard measurement of another register on the same device.

Steps to replicate:
1. On a device with multiple registers, upload IMDs with one register going to exception.
2. Discard the IMD in exception status.
3. Check the measurements of other registers.

Actual Result:
Measurement on the other register is not discarded.

Expected Result:
Measurement on the other register is discarded.

Note:
There are other types of measurements which have different measurement conditions.
If IMD of regular condition is being discarded, it is expected that only reads of the regular condition will be discarded and it won’t have any effect on reads with different condition.
