Comment Added Above & Below <TD> Tags In <table> Are Disabling Delete Button Functionality On Extendable Lookup (Doc ID 2717503.1)

Goal

When trying to delete a record from a value of an Extendable Value list of an Extendable Lookup, delete button is not deleting the record. We removed comments that are added above and below tags in the UI maps (Custom) and then we observed that the delete functionality worked.

We seek a confirmation from Oracle that adding comments around Tags effects any functionality?
