How to prevent emails from going to OCMS account when the users are moved to other email platform?

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
On : Oracle Communications Messaging Server 8.0.2 version, Message Store
Users who were on Oracle Communication Messaging Server (OCMS) , then moved to O365 had their iPlanet account disabled, but they still receive email via OCMS distribution lists (DLs). When they do, users either get the mail sent to the old OCMS account if the account is not disabled in LDAP or if the account is disabled (mailUserStatus: disabled and inetUserStatus:disabled), the sender gets a message back that their email is disabled. How do we fix this so that the user receives email from OCMS DLs but not to their old OCMS account?
