Symptoms

On : 2.6.0.1.0 version, MICC Transfer to TSC

enq : TX - Contention / enq : TX - Index Contention on CI_PER LOB Columns.

Experiencing frequent waits on CI_PER update and hence there is an alert for blocking session. Update on CI_PER is seen to be taking 1 second for each execution.

This issue happens where batch is run multi-threaded which has inserts or updates on CI_PER.
