Questions and Answers
What infrastructure is required to implement OAuth2 in BRM 12 Patch Set (PS) 3 CN?
What software is needed to implement OAuth2 in BRM 12 PS3 Cloud Native?
Which applications should be installed for this implementation?
What license is needed to cover Oracle Identity (OI) with current BRM solution?
Is BRM REST Service Manager an additional POD in BRM? Does it need to be configured within BRM to work?  It does not appear in the current installation.
The project is to configure version 12 of BRM CN on a local client server running on openshift 4.5. BRM will be running without Oracle Access Manager or Oracle Identity cloud Services, only BRM itself. In this implementation of BRM, some customized webservices are already configured in REST, example: creation of customers, and already running in the POD image of the WebLogic Server Manager (WSM). OAUTH 2.0 on these webservices need to be implemented. How to carry out this implementation? Will OAM or OICS needed to be installed on a VM? Or is there a way to implement it within the framework of OpenShift/Kubernetes?
A WebLogic is running on a POD WSM. Is it doable to create VM only with AOM installation and use this WebLogic for Token validation in AOM? Or, is it necessary to configure BRM REST Services Manager?
The understanding is BRM REST Services Manager would be to call BRM Out of Box (OOB) services via REST, however custom services call OOB APIs via opcode?
For OAuth2 utilization requirement, is interim patch 31576144 needed to enable BRM REST Services Manager configuration and to create a new VM for AOM installation to control the authentication Token?
The WebLogic server runs within the PODs made available by BRM CN. OAM would not fit within a POD and so a new VM should be created for OAM only, correct?
