HTTP 500 Error with IIS Plugin on Agile Running on FMW 12.2.1.4 and Windows 2019 (Doc ID 2741652.1)

Symptoms

After configuring IIS as Web proxy for Agile 9.3.6 RUP13 running on Fusion Middleware Infrastructure (FMW) 12.2.1.4 on Windows 2019,
fails to connect to Agile via web proxy through below error:

500 Internal Server Error

 

Fact

IIS plugin is working fine on Agile 9.3.6 RUP13 running on Fusion Middleware Infrastructure 12.2.1.4 on Windows 2016


Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install Fusion Middle Infrastructure 12.2.1.4 on Windows Server 2019
  2. Install Agile 9.3.6 and apply RUP13
  3. Setup IIS for Web Proxy by following the instruction in:
    "Configuring the Plug-In for Microsoft IIS Web Server" described in below FMW document:
    https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/fusion-middleware/web-tier/12.2.1.4/develop-plugin/isapi.html#GUID-4A00CB36-315D-44A0-A86D-1BC96CEF8744
  4. Access to Web Client URL, and gets error
