Control Central Search Zone is not does limiting rows from database and online server is crashing

The SQL statement executed from the zone ‘C1-CTRLCENQ6 – Geo Type/Value’ search on control central does not inject ROWNUM <= 301 even though the base zone has ‘Number of Rows to Retrieve for SQL 1’ set to 300. This result in large number of records returned and objects retained in the JVM when a user uses a wild card search. This impacts WebLogic application servers JVM performance with long Full GC pauses and the server failing with a ‘java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space’.
