Impurge Store Error Esindex/Esrepair Too Many Open Files (Doc ID 2752833.1)

Symptoms


An "imcheck -W" was run to clear the Elasticsearch flag from all folders.
Shortly after that, another imcheck was run to cause it to index all the folders.


A day later, imcheck -q showed about 40k esindex tasks still to be done.
By the end of the day, it was down to 11k.
The next day, it was done.
But, after all of this, the default log showed 57K messages such as the following:
