Symptoms
When installing both Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), you cannot merge the 8.1 PFT and FTP data models in Erwin. There is an issue when merging the Transaction (TXNS) tables (ex. Fsi_D_Annuity_Txns) Relationship.
In Erwin Data Modeler, in the Complete Compare screen, as a first step, you merge the Trans_Leaf_Columns super class type table from the PFT Model into the FTP Model. This is successful. However, when attempting to merge the TXNS tables, the Relationship fails to merge. When you try to add it, nothing happens.
Also in Complete Compare, under Entity/Table > Relationships, the Relationship Trans_Leaf_Column Is_a_Transaction_Leaf_Columns Fsi_D_Annuity_Txns is listed.
When you highlight the relationship, it lists the following:
Property View: Key Group not equal to XPKTransaction_Leaf_Columns [Filtered]
However, you also cannot add this value to the FTP Model.
You followed the steps in the "OFSAA Data Model Document Generation Technical Paper" but you still have the same issue.
