What is the Staging Folder in Agile File-Manager File Vault for? (Doc ID 2775793.1)

Goal

The customer's 'staging' folder in the file vault was filled with a couple very large files (~37GB total), exhausting all available space and rendering Agile unusable. Customer need to manually clear the folder and restarting Agile.

Which process is using this folder and is there any security breach?
