Last updated on MAY 03, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When you keep the items on clearance for a long time, say clearance start date = 01-Mar-2020 and reset date is 1 year away, i.e., 28-Feb-2021. CLEAR_HISTORY months = 3.

Some promos started/ended/started/ended between 01-Mar-2020 and now, so there are multiple timelines between 01-Mar-2020 and 28-Jul-2020.

Expired Clearance Purge will not purge the RPM_CLEARANCE and RPM_CLEARANCE_RESET as the reset date is not reached yet.

When it comes to the RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL purge job, it will purge the RFR record since the timeline for 01-Mar-2020 is history retention months. Since the RFR record is deleted, RPMFutureRetailPurge batch, even after clearance reset is executed and retention is passed, RPM_CLEARANCE RPM_CLEARANCE_RESET is not deleted as there is no record in RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL.

How to purge the expired Clearances in this case?
