Incorrect Bill Period For Monthly General Ledger Report (Doc ID 2786972.1)

Symptoms


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Go to $PIN_HOME/sys/data/config/
load the file as load_pin_config_export_gl -v pin_config_export_gl.xml

2) In sys/data/pricing/example , update the entry in 'pin_glid' file.

  gl_segment .east no_rollup

In sys/cm/pin.conf,

Add the entry ==> "- fm_cust_pol gl_segment .east"
Comment the entry ==> #- fm_cust_pol gl_segment .

Restart the cm/pin

3) Create a product with Cycle Forward Event with 100 USD and GLID "Monthly Charges"
Create a Plan using that Product

pvt to Nov 1
Create an Account using that plan
move the pvt from Nov 1 to Dec 1
run pin_bill_accts
move the pvt from Dec 1 to Jan 1
run pin_bill_accts

4) From sys/data/pricing/example
pin_ledger_report -mode run_report -segment .east -start 12/01/2020 -end 01/01/2021 -type billed_earned -detail -all_resource -verbose

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Revenue report should be from 01-Dec-2020 to 31-Dec-2020 mid-night.
