Configure Script Failing For Patch 27096070 On SMS (Doc ID 2799400.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 13, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 12.0.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control Applications (NCC) 12.0.2.0.0 version,

The configure script for <Patch 27096070> fails to run for numerous reasons. This all relates to migrate/P27096070SMS/lib/26894994_SMS_up.1.sh which is attempting to manually perform CCS Voucher Partitioning maintenance:

1) This script invokes "/IN/bin/sudo" however this file is not delivered and it is not clear what it should contain - should it link to the installed sudo? What is the purpose?

This is because /IN/service_packages/CCSVCHRPART/tmp does not exist. How to resolve this?

2) This script requires sysdba access:

CCSVCHRPART_maintenance.sh contains:

WHENEVER SQLERROR EXIT SQL.SQLCODE;
CONNECT / AS SYSDBA

Should this script be manually migrated to the remote database node?
