P6 Export to MS Project XML Or P6 XML Performance Issue and Significant LOB AND Archivelog Growth (Doc ID 2809043.1)

Symptoms

Issue originally observed in P6 EPPM release 19.12.5.0.

When exporting to MS Project XML OR a P6 XML file, it takes a long time (> 45 minutes) and causes significant LOB growth (~18 GB to 86 GB ) for a single project.

The increase in LOB growth also causes excessive archivelog growth.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Login into P6 Professional application.
  2. Try to export several projects.
  3. Observe LOB table growing and duration being over 45 minutes for 1 project to export.
