Symptoms

You are using fn_ppmt_rate_loader to load data from STG_PPMT_MODEL_HYPERCUBE into FSI_PPMT_MODEL_HYPERCUBE.

STG_PPMT_MODEL_HYPERCUBE contains data for multiple As of Date / FIC_MIS_Date values.  According to the Data Model Utilities Guide, this is allowed:

"The Data Loader accepts the AS_OF_DATE as a parameter, that is, date to load all prepayment rates from the Staging table into the OFSAA metadata table for the specific as of date."

However, when you run the prepayment loader, the following error occurs in FSI_MESSAGE_LOG:

Load Failed . Staging Record count is more than those defined in FSI_M_PPMT_MODEL 5017506

You do not understand why this error occurs when data for multiple dates exists in STG_PPMT_MODEL_HYPERCUBE.
