Goal
On all versions of Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C) and Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC), the Virtual Private Network (VPN) service introduces a feature set that allows solution designers to implement Advanced Control Services (ACS) Control Plan (CP) logic based on the idea that the calling or called party numbers are related. For example, discounted calling rates if the numbers are in a VPN, or shortcode lookup etc. A full list of features can be found in the VPN User Guide.
This article will address the concerns around how does adding more look-ups affect overall service latency/load?
