Symptoms
On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) versions after 5.0.2 (inclusive), Periodic Charges (PC) can now be configured with a timezone in the When screen. This was done to support deployments in countries with multiple timezones.
It is possible with this new functionality to mismatch the timezone of the subscriber and the timezone of the PC (New Zealand (NZ) and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) for example).
When the timezones are mismatched, then every day there is a chance for the pro-rated credit/debit associated with the PC to be miscalculated. This occurs in the hours when the day of the 2 timezones fall on different days.
