Dynamic Replenishment is Generating Incorrect ROQ For Pack Item at Warehouse (Doc ID 2852170.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 28, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Recommended Order Quantity (ROQ) for warehouse generated incorrectly when replenishment method is 'Dynamic'.
The WH ROQ seems to only cover the Stores ROQ for only 2 days from the Current Order Lead Time (COLT) to the COLT + Inventory Selling Days (ISD).
This does not seem correct as it seems the WH Review Lead Time should be considered when calculating the Review Forecast.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a SKU.
  2. Setup Supplier Lead Time = 3 days, Pickup Lead Time = 1 day.
  3. Range to 2 stores and 1 Warehouse.
  4. Put the item on WH->Store Replenishment for 2 stores from the same WH with WH Lead Time  = 0 days and review everyday.
  5. Make sure to have Daily Item Forecast for the stores for the upcoming few weeks.
  6. Put the item/WH from #1 on Dynamic Replenishment with Inventory Selling Days = 2 and Review 1x/week.
  7. Run replenishment batches.
  8. Notice that the WH ROQ seems to only cover the Stores ROQ for only 2 days from the Current Order Lead Time (COLT) to the COLT + Inventory Selling Days (ISD) but does not consider warehouse lead time.
