User Session Not Terminated After 3 Invalid Password Entries (Doc ID 2864276.1)

Symptoms

User session will not terminate after 3 incorrect password entries from the followings:

Utilities > Change password
Case Locking
Case Unlocking
Case Closing
Case Unclosing
Case Unblinding
ICSR Incoming Accept
ICSR Incoming Reject

 

Steps:

(i.e.) Utilities > Change password

1. (1st try) Set incorrect password
2. Press [OK]
3. The message "Could not validate old password! Please reenter" appears
4. Press [OK]

5. (2nd try) Set incorrect password
6. Press [OK]
7. The message "Could not validate old password! Please reenter" appears
8. Press [OK]

9. (3nd try) Set to set incorrect password
10. Press [OK]
11. The message "Could not validate old password! Please reenter" appears
12. Press [OK]

 

Note:

Argus is supposed to terminate the session after 3 failed password entries.

After setting incorrect password 3 times in a row, the user session is still active and not terminated.
Press the [Cancel] button and the user is still able to do the operations on UI (for example, open the case and save the case etc).
