DeleteObsoleteSearch.sql Is Failing with ORA-00054 Error (Doc ID 2878778.1)

Symptoms

deleteObsoleteSearch.sql is failing with below error:

ERROR

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired
ORA-06512: at line 9




STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Stop Agile Application Server
2. Log into sqlplus as agile database user, and run deleteObsoleteSearch.sql available from Doc ID 2723384.1
3. Gets error in the console. Also see the error in deleteObsoleteSearch_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.log
