Symptoms

MSS 6.3.1 version, Connection Design

=========================

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------

In the Connection Design window, CLR/DLR Design page for a virtual circuit, when the user clicks on “Add an Equipment Assignment”, the application has performance issues opening the "Equipment Inventory for Connection Design" window.

This is currently happening on 6.3.1.74, with an Oracle 12.2.0.1.0 database.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-------------------------
In this scenario , MSS should display the result quickly and should not hang .

Steps:
----------
1-Open the equipment inventory and here we have equipment installed at a customer site location that is associated to a virtual connection.
2-Open the virtual connection design that terminates at the customer site.
3-Open the CLR/DLR Design window and click on the ‘Add an Equipment Assignment’ option.
4-At this point, the application freezes and does not return a new window immediately.

In some cases, the application will return an ‘Unable to communicate with application server XXXX ’ error after 5 minutes(approx). If you click ‘Ignore’ in this window, then it will display the results that were found.

5-In other cases, the window may return, but it comes back with the following error:

Error :
PBPackageError: SAXException – xml parser error
FWK005 parse may not be called while parsing .
