Symptoms

Calendar resources unavailable for reservation

Some users asked to have the use of the calendar resources. With a set of resources created, added to the calendar, and attached to an owner, such resources aren't showing up when trying to use the reservation field.

Although the calendar collection exists, the davadmin command for it fails:


In Convergence, when tried searching for resources with just the UID part of the e-mail address and with the CN, the search doesn't find the resource. However, if added the whole address into the field "Reservations", the event can be created and even can see the availability of the resource.

So, in summary:

- Users can subscribe to calendar resources.
- Users can search the resources, but only if the whole e-mail address is specified.
- Users can see the availability of the resource by clicking on the button "check the availability"
- Users cannot find the resources when clicking on the little book icon (button) next to the reservation field.
