Data Model Upload Fails With Error "Table with name <TABLE_NAME> have lower version, so this table will be skipped while upload" (Doc ID 2887375.1)

Symptoms

On AAI 8.1.1, the data model upload fails with the following errors in the model upload log:

ERRORS

Table with name STG_GL_DATA have lower version, so this table will be skipped while upload.

Table with name FSI_D_MANAGEMENT_LEDGER have lower version, so this table will be skipped while upload.

Table with name BASIC_LEDGER_CLASS_REQ have lower version, so this table will be skipped while upload.

 DMMJSONUpload : dmmMetaList size for Upload :- 0

There are no model changes available for model upload, So skipping the upload process.Ended Model Upload using JSON :Wed Jul 20 17:26:14 CEST 2022

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Columns added to stg gl data (V_protocol_code, V_project_code, V_destination_group_code,v_cost_center_code)
2. Columns added to {BASIC_LEDGER_CLASS_REQ=[FSI_D_MANAGEMENT_LEDGER]

Exact data model change steps:

a. Open the out of the box model, standard model.
b. Create a custom Subject Area
c.  Add STG GL data table fsi d management ledger table and basic ledger class req super class table to the new subject area.
d. Do the data model changes of adding new columns in stg gl data.
e. Add new key dim columns in super class table
f. Ensure that relationship is available between fsi d management ledger and super class table.
g. Go to design layer
h. Chose new derive model
i. In the steps take everything and filter the subject area where changes were done.
j.  Create a new model
k. Change it to .xml

3. Upload the sliced model with this change only
4. Getting error above
