Shift Templates Incorrectly Generate Errors For Mandatory Field Values Not Required Prior To Rollup 4 (Doc ID 2888360.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management - Version 2.3.0.3.0 and later
Oracle Utilities Framework - Version 4.3.0.6.0 to 4.3.0.6.0 [Release 4.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 2.3.0.3.0 version,

Different scenarios can occur after applying v2.3.0.3 roll-up 4 as a result of this bug:

- Working on creating new shift weekly template, when trying to process for a crew on subscriptions list got this error:
"At least one mobile worker is required"
This is despite having MW on Crew provided!

- After applying changes for each day at the shift weekly template level, the application requires to populate 2-3 fields, which were not mandatory before the rollup patch was applied.
Service Area and Logon/logoff location has now become mandatory where the application indicates, "A Crew Shift must have at least one Service Area", and "Location type is required".

- When duplicating or adding a crew shift, the mobile worker and vehicle are not auto-populated on crew selection. We expect that this information would be prefilled based on existing crew configuration. This change in behavior occurred after applying roll-up 4.
