GetPricing REST API Call Over HTTPS Protocol Fails With “Unable To Find Valid Certification Path to Requested Target” (Doc ID 2888433.1)

Symptoms

On FTP 8.1.1.1, while testing the getPricing API with HTTPS protocol and port, the following error is printed in the catalina.out file

javax.ws.rs.ProcessingException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

On the other hand, while trying the same with HTTP the API is working as expected.
