Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Item Relationship tab has dot in Web Client but no rows are listed when the tab is opened.

Due to this the Revision attribute in Item || Relationship tab cannot be disabled using Java Client.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The dot should be displayed only when there are rows in the Relationship tab.

This should not prevent users from disabling an attribute in the tab.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Agile Web Client : http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/Agile/PLMServlet
  2. Create items P00001 and P00002.
  3. Create a change order C00002 for P00002 and specify as rev A.
  4. Create a revision-specific relationship for P00001 and P00002 using SDK,with rev A as the revision.
  5. In Web Client, notice that the Introductory rev of P00002 has black dot in the Relationships tab, while rev A does not have black dot.
  6. This is incorrect because rev A should have the black dot and Introductory should not.
Note: This issue does not happen if the revision-specific relationship is created using Web Client.
  7.  Remove P00002 in C00002 in Web Client. See that the relationship between P00001 and P00002 is automatically removed.
  8. P00001 still has a black dot in Relationships tab even though there is no existing relationship. But P00002 has no black dot.
Note: If the Affected Item was removed using SDK, P00002 also incorrectly shows black dot.
