Fails to Save Change in Agile Web Service Application with Error "{User} does not have sufficient privileges to be the Originator" When Logged in as LDAP User (Doc ID 2893470.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Agile 9.3.6 RUP 19, user is not able to create part object with the error below reported in the application log.

Error code : 300

Error message : {First Name},{Last Name} ({Username}) does not have sufficient privileges to be the Originator.

Root Cause exception : com.agile.util.exception.CMAppException: {First Name},{Last Name} ({Username})does not have sufficient privileges to be the Originator.

 

- The issue happened in the Agile Web Service application when logged in with LDAP user and attempting to save object.

- The issue is happening in one instance (pre-production), but not in the other instance with the same set of data.

 

 

 

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Login to Agile Web Service application as LDAP user.

2. Add a Change.

3. Enter details and hit Save button.

4. Gets error in the application log.
