P6 Professional Project Hangs During XER Import (Doc ID 2895834.1)

When importing a large schedule, in the format of .XER, the application freezes indefinitely.


The import process should complete within a reasonable amount of time.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch P6 Professional.
  2. Import the XER.
  3. Observe the application freezes and the XER import does not complete.
