Transitionary Balance Columns To Be Populated For All Runs In The Year Of Transition For YTD (Doc ID 2896074.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 20, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Accounting Analyzer - Version 8.0.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Only the first Run after the transition date is considered as Transition Run and all other Runs after that, are treated as normal Runs.
For example, if transition date = 01-Jan-2022, 31-Mar-2022 execution (first execution after transition date) is considered as Transition Run. 30-June-2022 Run is treated as normal Run.

Expectation is that all the Runs executed in the year 2022 needs to be treated as Transition Run in case of YTD executions, so that transitionary balances columns are populated. But currently, transitionary columns are populated only for 31-Mar-2022 execution and opening balance columns (instead of transition balance columns) for all other executions in year 2022 (such as 30-Jun-2022, 30-Sep-2022, etc).
