Last updated on JULY 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 3.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench (DMW) 3.2 version,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
After doing the study File Watcher setup for all three Life Cycles, in the "Data Model" / "Watch Configuration" > "File Specifications" screen is showing '"Pending".
The buttons for "Pause" or "Play" are greyed out. Therefore the file is not detected or picked up.
However, in the "Administration" / "File Watcher" the File Specifications are shown as "Running".

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It would be expected that the File Specifications status to be 'Running' under "Watcher Configuration" > "File Specifications" screen.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Create a Data Model with an input file of type Text.
2. Go to "Watcher Configuration".
3. Create study File Watchers for all three lifecycles.
4. Select a study File Watcher and add a File Specification.
5. Check the File Specifications status.
