Symptoms

On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, NMS Infrastructure

If you place a model edit on a conductor segment that is too short, the action fails, but no error appears in the MBService log.

These errors appear in the MBDBService log:

ORA-29877: failed in the execution of the ODCIINDEXUPDATE routine
ORA-13034: Invalid data in the SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY in SDO_GEOMETRY object
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 526

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In $NMS_CONFIG/sql/x_control.sql, for all "-wireDown" entries, change the "-gapLength" value to be 300.
2. Run "ISQL.ces -f $NMS_CONFIG/sql/x_control.sql"
3. Restart services and the managed server
4. Place an Inline Jumper on a short conductor
5. It will fail.
