Symptoms
When attempting to use P6 EPPM Web Services to export a project, the following error occurs:
com.primavera.ws.importexport.WSExportProvider> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '10' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <[severity-value: 8] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > com.primavera.ws.p6.export.IntegrationFault
Caused By: java.lang.NullPointerException
The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:
- In P6, create a P6 project.
- Assign the OBS of the project to a non-admin-superuser account with Web Services Module Access.
- Find and store the Object Id of the project.
- Replace the ProjectObjectId in the P6 Web Service call.
- Replace the user name/password and database instance information in the P6 Web Service call.
- Find and store the needed Web Service WSDL (example https://wsdemo.client_name.com/p6ws/services/ExportService?wsdl).
- Use a Web Service client to execute the P6 Web Service call (for example SoapUI).
- Note the error message being returned with a generic error code 0.
