SolidWorks Drawing (SLDDRW) Files Not Printing Properly on 8.5x11 paper format, Fit to Page Not Working in the Output, Blank Borders Showing (Doc ID 2905065.1)

Symptoms

When printing a SolidWorks drawing file using AutoVue and the output selected is 8.5x11, the fit to page is not working. The drawing is not fitting the 8.5x11 output. Large blank borders are showing in the output.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start the AutoVue application (http://<machine_name>:<port>/Autovue/av_jnlp.html).
  2. From the AutoVue window, click on File > Open.
  3. Select a SolidWorks drawing file to open.
  4. Click on File > Print.
  5. From the print dialog, choose "Letter" for paper format.
  6. Choose "Fit to page".
  7. Click on "Print" to print the file.
  8. Look at the output. Notice the file is not fitting to page. Large white borders are showing in the output.
