Error "The details you have entered for the WebLogic domain are incorrect" in the P6 EPPM Configuration Wizard (Doc ID 2905686.1)

Symptoms

While installing P6 EPPM, the following error occurs on the Configure WebLogic screen of the P6 EPPM Configuration Wizard:

Domain Validation Failed
The details you have entered for the WebLogic domain are incorrect

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install WebLogic, including creating a P6 domain and admin/managed servers.
  2. Install the P6 EPPM application files, after which the EPPM Configuration Wizard automatically runs.
  3. When prompted during the WebLogic domain creation process, select Use Existing Domain.
  4. On the Configure WebLogic screen, enter the domain details and press Next.
  5. The reported error occurs.
