OCI FCCM Usage Of OCI Email Delivery (Doc ID 2912424.1)

Goal

The client has an FCCM instance running in OCI and the database used is in ExaCC, connected using Fast Connect.
Oracle also provides OCI Email Delivery that can be used as a relay server in the cloud, for applications to send emails as needed.
However, from the OCI Email Delivery documentation, it always looks like the request will have to be authenticated, which seems to break one of FCCM's conditions above.

Given the above, we need to clarity if the two products can be successfully used together or not.
